The 4.5-5 G Tender, prepared weeks ago by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and BTHK, cannot overcome the Ministry of Finance’s obstacle.
Although the Finance Bureaucrats were informed many times by the BTHK Authorities about the tender specifications prepared by BTHK, the tender did not pass by the Council of Ministers because they did not give a positive opinion.
Erhan Arıklı, Minister of Public Works and Transport, whose opinions we consulted on the subject, confirmed that the tender was blocked by Finance and said; “From the first moment we took office, I said that we will save our country from the outdated 3 G freaks and that we will go to the 4.5-5 G tender in a short time.
BTHK prepared a very good tender specification and briefed the previous Minister and Finance Bureaucrats several times. Unfortunately, BTHK, The Ministers and Bureaucrats who received a briefing from the Ministry of Finance are not at their posts now. BTHK officials briefed the new Minister and the new Finance Bureaucrats again.
But no results were achieved. Before the election bans, we wanted to go to this tender. But it seems that it is not possible to convince the Bureaucrats of the Finance. Those who try to do something are constantly being blocked…” he said.
