Minister of Health Monitoring Gürçağ Altuğra, during their visit to the Kyrenia region New Girne Hospital with Prime minister Ünal Üstel, and Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital made a statement about the wards that burned down two and a half years ago.
Altuğra said that the intensive work of the Ministry of Health teams resulted in success and the tender for the New Girne Hospital has started.
Altuğra said, “we completed the projects we updated to the Central Tender Commission with great effort”. During the meeting we had with Cafer Gürcafer , I learned that 10 contractors made offers to complete the Girne Hospital. This is pleasing. We will continue to receive these offers until September 27. This is in accordance with the law, when going out to the tender, there is an obligation to stay suspended for a certain period of time and accept the offer”.
Minister Altuğra, two and a half years ago, reminding that the intensive care unit and cardiovascular surgery department of Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital were burned down. He stated that the tender process for the service, which was burned until 14 September, had begun.
