56-year-old retired police officer passed on

Aydın Arıl passed away.

Originally born in Gonendere. Aydın Arıl retired from the General Directorate of Police in January and was a very popular officer in the organization.

According to the information given by the Police Press Officer, at around 04:45 today, 56-year-old resident Aydın Arıl in Gönyeli suddenly became ill and died in the caravan he was staying in Güzelyalı.

Aydın Arıl died of a heart attack. His death caused great sadness among his loved ones and the police force.

Arıl’s body will be buried in Nicosia cemetery after the afternoon prayer following the autopsy to be held today.
