ME, the uncle of the child, who was arrested on charges of attempted sexual rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault against a child under the age of 16, was brought before the court.
Noting that the child’s statement was taken in the presence of social workers, the Police said that the suspect did not accept the crimes in his voluntary statement.
Police officer Ozan Kuลak, who gave information at the court, conveyed the events related to the issue. The police stated that ME, who was in the presence, was tried for the crimes of attempted sexual rape of a child under the age of 16, sexual abuse and sexual assault.
The police claimed that between 2017 and 2022, the 12-year-old girl, who was the niece of the suspect ME, attempted to sexually abuse the child after repeatedly sexually assaulting the child.
The police explained that ME was arrested as per a court order and did not admit the crimes in his voluntary statement.
