Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was a Special Guest of Honour on Monday at a forum tagged ‘Conversation with the Vice President and Young People’ hosted by his Liberian counterpart Jewel Howard-Taylor.
According to a statement by Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande, the Vice President departed Abuja for Monrovia Monday morning for the one-day visit to the West African nation.
He also held bilateral meeting with President George Weah of Liberia.
Akande said the forum was part of activities marking the 60th birthday celebrations of Howard-Taylor.
Osinbajo and other West African leaders interacted with some selected 400 emerging leaders and shared some thoughts with them.
Osinbajo was accompanied by the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Ramatu Aliyu; and the Special Adviser to the President on Social Investment, Mariam Uwais.
