While the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Erhan Arıklı, said, “This government will save Kıb-Tek. We will bury the freight and tender in history”, CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman said, “Kıb-Tek has to be saved from this government”, he emphasized.
The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) debate took place in the General Assembly of the Republic.
Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı stated that the government has taken a step that will “root the Kib-Tek mafia”.
Arıklı said, “With this step, we are also taking the biggest argument in the hands of the opposition. I wonder what they will talk about next. You will see, this government will save Kib-Tek. We will make the freight and tender history a thing of the past.”
Arıklı stated that after the filter is installed, fuel with a more affordable price will be brought to the country and electricity prices will be cheaper.
Chairman of the CTP Tufan Erhürman took the floor again and pointed to Arıklı’s words and said, “Kıb-Tek needs to be saved from this government.
Erhürman said that 30-32 dollars of fuel was bought for 150 dollars per ton during this government period, and he wanted the Assembly to be informed about this issue.
Erhürman, who argued that the government has an approach that lacks seriousness, said, “Everything will look like your face and then they will say to you, let us do it. You are proud of that. With this mentality, we are getting worse everyday. “It’s clear that no one trusts you,” he said.
