Greek Cypriot Andreas Soutzis, who was detained in Northern Cyprus for more than a month on charges of photographing the 1st degree military forbidden zone, was released today.
Soutzis was welcomed by his fans and went to Southern Cyprus.

After staying at a hotel in Mehmetçik village on the Karpaz peninsula on August 26, Soutzis transferred to the Greek Cypriot Administration and started to be sought after a cleaning staff reported to the police a radio he found in the room.
The Greek Cypriot was detained while re-entering the TRNC on 3 September.
