CTP Güzelyurt Mayoral Candidate Osman Bican said during his visit to the Güzelyurt Bazaar, “We will not stand by as a spectator to the disappearance of Güzelyurt”.
Osman Bican, who was declared as the mayoral candidate of Güzelyurt by the Republican Turkish Party (CTP), said, “We will not stand by as a spectator to the destruction of Güzelyurt”. Bican noted that if they take office, they will primarily work hard to prevent young people from immigrating from Güzelyurt.
According to the statement made by CTP, Bican visited Güzelyurt open market and Güzelyurt bazaar. Osman Bican, CTP General Secretary Asım Akansoy, CTP Güzelyurt District President Çağlar Gulamkadir and some deputies accompanied him.
Listening to the problems of the people of Güzelyurt, the CTP delegation also shared their solution suggestions.
In his speech during his visits, Bican argued that Güzelyurt has not been governed by the right policies for years, and stated that young people continue to migrate from Güzelyurt and noted that no steps have been taken regarding the situation in question.
Osman Bican, who stated that they would spend a lot of time dealing with the problems of the young people if they took office, expressed that they set out with new visions and projects.
Stating that municipality is not just about “collecting garbage”, Osman Bican stated that the people of Güzelyurt deserve much more than that.
Bican noted that Güzelyurt should find the value it deserves. Stating that Güzelyurt needs change and development more than ever.
Osman Bican reminded that the number of deputies in Güzelyurt has decreased to three. Stating that no project has been developed for years for the youth to stay in Güzelyurt.
Bican stated that “they will not be spectators for the region to melt down”.
Osman Bican said, “Guzelyurt has not been given the value it deserves for years. We will save Güzelyurt from being an abandoned region. We are ready to do all these with new plans and projects. People from Guzelyurt; raise your expectations, the success of CTP in local administrations will be reflected here as well”.
