The villagers of Dilekkaya, Kırıkkale, Erdemli and Yiğitler from Mesarya villages protested today on the grounds that road problems have continued for a long time.

The villagers of Dilekkaya, Kırıkkale, Erdemli and Yiğitler protested today on the grounds that the road construction has not been completed for a long time.

According to Mehmet Süleymanoğulları who spoke on behalf of the people of the region, the problems they experienced due to the inability to complete the road, noted that there was no progress on when the road would be fixed.

Stating that the action was not a preferred situation, but they tried to make their voices heard through the press. Süleymanoğulları noted that the government should resolve this issue otherwise the action would be moved to Nicosia.

Headman of Dilekkaya Ahmet Çeliker Menteşoğulları, Mayor of Virtue Kamil Şenocaklı, Mayor of Kırıkkale Gürsel Osmanoğlu, Head of Animal Producers and Breeders Union Mustafa Naimoğulları, Deputy of Rebirth PartyTalip Atalay also made a speech at the demonstration, expressing that the people of the surrounding area are extremely aggrieved due to the lack of roads and demanded that the government solve the problem immediately.
