There is a significant increase in TRNC university preferences of students in Turkey – Akın Cellatoğlu

EUL Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Cellatoğlu said that it was a good year in terms of the number of students with additional quotas. Cellatoğlu said, “there is an increase in the preference of TRNC universities by students in Turkey.”

European University of Lefke (EUL ) Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Cellatoğlu made a statement to the Cyprus Post regarding the enrollment of students in Turkey to universities in Northern Cyprus.

Expressing that they have achieved their goals with the number of students placed from the additional quota specific to EUL, Cellatoğlu said that the number of students enrolled is high.

“There is an increase in the preference of TRNC universities by students in Turkey,” says Cellatoglu.

He stated that they are pleased with the increase in the number of students at EUL .

Underlining that the removal of base points in undergraduate and associate degree programs at universities had a positive effect on them.

Prof. Dr. Akın Cellatoğlu emphasized that there has been a significant increase in the number of students enrolled.

Cellatoğlu stated that the anxiety of the pandemic was lifted from the students.
