Suspect arrested for rear view mirrors damages await trial

The suspect, Ü.E, who broke the rear view mirrors of 9 vehicles in Surlarici was arrested and taken to court. The court decided that the suspect should be tried without bail.

The suspect Ü.E, who deliberately damaged 9 vehicles in Surlarici, was arrested and brought before the court.

Police officer Hüseyin Akkaplan, who reported the incident at the court, said that the suspect had deliberately damaged the right and left rear view mirrors of 9 vehicles on September 21.

The police stated that the suspect gave his statement voluntarily, that he is a TRNC citizen, unemployed and without a criminal record.

The police stated that the investigation was completed and demanded that an appropriate collateral be attached.

Judge Nil Elodie Çeliker, who evaluated the testimony given in her presence, said that the suspect was banned from going abroad for the purpose of being present at the trial, report to the nearest police station once a month, deposit a cash of 5 thousand TL and a guarantor of a TRNC citizen sign a bail bond of 50 thousand TL.

He ordered that he be tried pending trial.
