Halil Falyalı murder: Case adjourned till September 29

Ömer Tunç, Veysel Sare and Musa Çiçek, who were on trial for the murder of Halil Falyalı and his driver Murat Demirtaş, were brought before the court today. The court adjourned the case to Thursday, September 29.

He lost his life as a result of the armed attack that took place in Çatalköy on 8 February.

Veysel Sare, Musa Çiçek and Ömer Tunç, the suspects in the murder of Halil Falyalı and Murat Demirtaş, were brought before the court again today under extensive security measures.

Prosecutor Ali Hidayet, who is conducting the case on behalf of the prosecution, stated that the investigation continues.

The court adjourned the case until Thursday, September 29, and closed the session.

Halil Falyalı was attacked by gunmen while he was in his car on 8 February in Çatalköy location in Kyrenia region. Murat Demirtaş died at the scene, Halil Falyalı was seriously injured and was taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital Nicosia.

Falyalı, who was later transferred to the Near East University (NEU) Hospital, could not be saved.
