Greek Cypriot espionage: Case adjourned till September 27

Greek-Cypriot Andreas Soutzis, who was detained on charges of photographing the 1st degree military forbidden zone, was again brought before the Military Court today. The case was decided.

In today’s part of the case, which was discussed in the presence of Judge Murat Soytaç, it was ruled that the final decision about the suspect would be announced on September 27, and that the suspect would be detained for 5 more days during this period.

The suspect, Greek Cypriot Andreas Soutzis, who admitted to the crime of photographing the military forbidden zone, signed a 30 thousand TL bail bond proving that he would protect peace and tranquility for 3 years in the case where he was tried on the charge of “using 2 radios without obtaining permission from the necessary authorities” at the hearing at the İskele district court the previous day, was saved as a result.
