Frightening traffic accident on Turkmenköy-Beyarmudu highway, investigation continues

Two people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on the Turkmenköy-Beyarmudu Highway today in the morning. 

According to the information given by the Police Press Officer, 42-year-old Mustafa Şevki, at the entrance of Beyarmudu village on the Türkmenköy-Beyarmudu main road, at around 06:00 today, was driving towards the direction of Beyarmudu with his HS 664 plate.

He crashed into the stones under the wires and was able to stop by somersaulting.

Mustafa Şevki, the driver of the vehicle with license plate HS 664, who was injured as a result of the accident, and Ersin Gazelci, 52, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were taken to Famagusta State Hospital.

After the treatments, the driver of the vehicle, Mustafa Şevki, was discharged, while Ersin Gazelci, who was a passenger in the vehicle was transferred to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.

The police investigation into the incident continues.
