At the end of the 5th day, people will be able to continue their daily lives by observing the mask rules, it was also stated that masks will be used in schools and closed areas.

DECISIONS ON ENTRY TO THE COUNTRY
Until a new decision is taken by our committee, people will be able to enter the country without the obligation to test for Covid-19, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or unvaccinated.
DECISIONS REGARDING INTERILAND BORDER CROSSING
In intra-island crossings, people will continue to cross without the obligation to test for Covid-19.
MASK REGARDING RULES
It is mandatory to use masks in closed areas and public transportation.
Social distance and hygiene rules should be observed in open and closed areas.
People with upper respiratory tract complaints will use masks in all areas (open, closed).
Indoor areas need to be ventilated frequently (classes, restaurants, gyms, etc.).
GENERAL RULES ABOUT TESTS
With the recommendation of the laboratory committee, the Covid-19 tests (PCR/antigen tests) used in our country must have CE-IVD certificates.
Elderly care home and prison workers will have Covid-19 tests done once a week.
Persons who will visit aged care homes and prisons must submit their Covid-19 tests once a week.
People showing symptoms will not be able to visit the specified places even if their tests are negative.
People showing symptoms will wear a mask and have an antigen test done.
If the antigen test is positive, a PCR test will be performed.
People who show serious symptoms despite the negative antigen tests will be able to have a PCR test at the doctor’s request.
DECISIONS ABOUT CONTACT PERSONS
People who come into contact with a covid 19 positive person will continue their daily lives with a mask by following the symptoms.
If these people show symptoms, they will have an antigen test.
If the antigen tests are positive, they will have a PCR test done.
DECISIONS ABOUT COVID-19 POSITIVE PEOPLE
The isolation process begins after the message that the person’s Covid 19 PCR test result is positive (Day 0).
In case of a second test by going to another test center, the result of the second test will not be taken into account.
The isolation period is 5 days, at the end of the 5th day, people will be able to continue their daily lives by observing the mask rules.
In case of an increase in shortness of breath, chest pain and symptoms (fever, cough, weakness, headache, etc.) at home, positive people can get help by calling 0533 842 8358 or 1102.
In order to apply home quarantine to Covid-19 positive people, it is obligatory to have a separate room belonging to the person in the house (dwelling, dormitory, lodging, etc.) so that there is no contact with other individuals.
If the same bathroom and toilet are used in the house, these places are disinfected after each use. Disinfection is done with 1% diluted bleach (1 small tea glass of bleach is put into 10 liters of water).
A Covid-19 positive person who is placed in home quarantine cannot leave the house during the quarantine (only in case of emergency with the knowledge of the quarantine center) and cannot accept visitors to the house where he is quarantined.
Official documents will not be issued by the Ministry of Health to Covid-19 positive persons who do not have any records in the Pandemic Information System.
DECISIONS ABOUT EDUCATION
In this context, each school;
Mask/Closed Areas of Schools
It is mandatory for all school staff to wear masks in classrooms and in all other closed areas (teacher rooms, etc).
It is mandatory for students, drivers and supervisors to wear masks on school buses.
It will be mandatory for students aged 6 and over to wear masks in classrooms and all other closed areas in schools.
It is recommended that students aged 4-6 wear masks in the classroom and indoors.
It is necessary to comply with the ventilation and disinfection rules of classrooms and all other closed areas in schools (teacher rooms, etc).
Tests
The Ministry of Health will create a screening program and conduct random screening tests at schools.
Classroom teachers ask students about symptoms at class entrances, such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc.
Students with symptoms will be sent for testing.
Disinfection/Hand Cleaning
Training on hand cleaning will be provided by the school pandemic boards.
Trainings will be given to encourage the use of water and soap, and disinfection will be used when necessary.
Hand disinfectant should be placed in places that the school administration deems appropriate.
DECISIONS ON VACCINES
The 5th dose of Pfizer BioNTech vaccine is recommended for those 18 years of age and older with moderate or severe suppression of the immune system.
It is recommended that people vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnsson vaccine receive their second dose with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine.
The 3rd dose vaccine (Pfizer Biontech) is recommended for people aged 50 years and older and people aged 18 years and older with moderate or severe immune system suppression.
It is recommended that people vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine receive their third dose with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine.
The 4th dose vaccine (Pfizer BioNTech) is recommended for people aged 50 years and older and people aged 18 years and older with moderate or severe immune system suppression.
It is recommended to administer the 4th dose of vaccine (Pfizer BioNTech) to people aged 50 years and older who were previously vaccinated with 3 doses of Sinovac or 2 Sinovac+ 1 BioNTech, and to people aged 18 years and older with moderate or severe immune system suppression.
