Council of ministers authorizes procurement of 100 thousand rapid antigen test kits

The Council of Ministers decided to authorize the Ministry of Health to procure 100 thousand coronavirus rapid antigen test kits for 2 million 71 thousand TL.

The decision regarding the procurement of 100 thousand antigen test kits was published in yesterday’s issue of the Official Gazette.

In order to ensure the adequacy and continuity of the health services provided to the public within the scope of the “Coronavirus General Epidemic” and to ensure that the society and sector screenings continue uninterruptedly, the council of ministers has decided to provide 100 thousand units, which are needed and urgently required.

He decided to supply the coronavirus rapid antigen test kit for a total of 2 million 71 thousand TL including VAT.

In the decision published in the Official Gazette, pursuant to the decrees with the force of law, the kits were purchased from the USHAŞ company operating under the ministry of health of the republic of Turkey, under the 2022 fiscal year budget.

It was stated that it was decided to authorize the ministry of health to be able to provide the “Coronavirus Fight Project” as a deduction for the appropriation item.
