US Ambassador to South Cyprus visits Karpaz

US Ambassador to Nicosia Judith Garber visited the Karpaz region.

Ambassador Garber, who examined the restoration work carried out by the bi-communal cultural heritage committee at the Apostolos Andreas Monastery, also participated in the beach cleaning; He witnessed sea turtles coming out of their nests and meeting the sea.

Garber, on his Twitter account, where he shared his feelings and photos about his visit to Karpaz, wrote that there is a lot of unique history, culture and places to see in this corner of the island.

In addition, Dipkarpaz Mayor Suphi Coşkun met with the US Ambassador to Nicosia Judith Garber, who visited the villages of Dipkarpaz and Kaleburnu.

In his written statement, Coşkun thanked Garber for his visit to his office and noted that the people of the region overcame the financial and moral difficulties, especially during the pandemic, in solidarity, unity and solidarity.

Coşkun added that during the meeting, the necessity of protecting cultural wealth was mutually expressed.
