The suspects Olanrawaju Owolabi Edu and Olayinka Nnamdi Fakonle, who were arrested for Robbery, Serious Battering and Unauthorized Residence in the TRNC, were brought before the court.

The police stated that the suspects, Olanrawaju Owolabi Edu and Olayinka Nnamdi Fakonle, who were present, were accused of Robbery, Serious Battering and Unauthorized Residence in the TRNC.
Police detected Olanrawaju Owolabi Edu and the suspect 2 Olayinka Nnamdi Fakonle, Mark Eguma Gideon Eyitemi Apoh and Moses Chukwuka Otuogbodor on Ecevit Street in Gonyeli at 00:20 on 28.07.2022.

Police said that suspect 1, Olanrawaju Owolabi Edu, suspect 2, Olayinka Nnamdi Fakonle, who was present, was arrested as per the pending warrant for Attempted Murder, Robbery and Residence Permit crimes that occurred in Girne on 19.08.2022.
The police were brought before the Kyrenia District Court on the same date and stated that a 3-day detention order was obtained against them.
The police stated that they had no connection with the incident that took place in Girne, and that they had connections with the crimes of Robbery and Serious Battling that took place in Nicosia on 28.07.2022, and they were transferred to the Nicosia Judicial Branch for further action on 20.08.2022.
The police said that the complainants, who came to the Nicosia Judicial Branch on the same day, saw and knew the suspects who were in the presence, and did not make any written or verbal statements in the investigation made about the suspects, but they did not accept the crimes that were explained to them under the throne of legal warning.
Although the issue regarding the suspects in the presence is new, it has been determined that the suspects are not legal in the TRNC, since the statements that need to be taken are still new, and since their investigations continue in this direction, they demanded that the suspects who were present at this stage be kept in police custody for 1 day.
Evaluating the testimony given in his presence, Judge Hazal Hacımulla ordered the suspects to be detained for 1 day so that the investigation could be conducted safely.
