Three African students arraigned for abduction and battery

The suspects, who were arrested in connection with the crimes of “Forced Abduction, Threat of Violence, Serious Batting” that took place in Nicosia were brought before the Nicosia District Court today.

The police stated that the suspect 1 Mohammad Sayoe, the suspect 2 Arthurlene H. Attia, the suspect 3 Rose OM Siaffa were involved in the crime of forced abduction and conveyed the facts about the subject.

Police officer Kazım Sevinç, who gave sworn testimony in the court, reported the facts.

The police accused R.G. of forcibly abducting people by beating R.G., whom they called to talk to the residence on the grounds that he had circulated £100 and 700 TL in cash from the wallets of 3 suspects between 7 and 8 August, by locking the door, threatening to use violence, and detaining them told what they did.

The police demanded that the investigation was completed and that the suspects were without a residence permit, and that they be put on trial.

Evaluating the testimony given in his presence, Judge Hazal Hacımulla ordered the suspects to be held in prison for a period not exceeding 3 months.
