The “If You Can’t Come, We Will Come” project carried out by the Ministry of Health continues. Within the scope of the project, Minister of Health, Monitoring Gürçağ Altuğra, visited Cesim Duran Dipkarpaz Health Center and Yenierenköy Health Center today and made investigations.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, Altuğra first visited Cesim Duran Dipkarpaz Health Center within the framework of the “If You Can’t Come, We Will Come” project. Minister Altuğra is here, the doctor in charge of the health center, Dr. He received information about the center from Bahtiyar Mammadov and met with the staff.
In his speech at Cesim Duran Dipkarpaz Health Center, Altuğra explained that with the “If You Can’t Come, We Come” project, they bring health services to disadvantaged individuals who cannot reach health care, and said that they bring health services to people who are disabled at home, who do not have a means of transportation, and who have difficulties in accessing health services for various reasons.
Receiving information from the responsible doctor about the general situation in Dipkarpaz, Altuğra stated that they are happy that there is no shortage of drugs here, and that they see that 80 percent of the needed drugs are supplied on site.
Stating that they are working to increase the quality of service in health, Altuğra stated that necessary steps will be taken for a gynecologist to serve at Dipkarpaz Health Center.
“There are no problems that cannot be resolved”
Afterwards, Minister Altuğra visited and talked to two patients over the age of 70 who received home health services. According to the statement, the patients who stated that they were very satisfied with the home health service, thanked the Ministry of Health and health workers who provided this service.
Minister Altuğra then went to Yenierenköy Health Center and continued his examinations. Having received information from the responsible doctor Ayla Akçin here, Altuğra said that seeing the smiling faces in Dipkarpaz and Yenierenköy Health Centers relieved them and explained that the health service should be supported more and there were no problems that could not be resolved.
Expressing his satisfaction with the 24-hour health service in Yenierenköy Health Center, Altuğra added that the center also provides Covid-19 antigen and PCR testing and vaccination service every day during working hours.
