Recovery Will Start From Marash In Famagusta, Says Tufan Erhürman

Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Chairman Tufan Erhürman spoke at the opening of the CTP Maraş Organization building and emphasized that the healing of Famagusta will start from Marash.

Underlining that Famagusta will be healed with Süleyman Uluçay, Erhürman said, “CTP-Maraş will walk hand in hand.

Süleyman Uluçay will be the mayor and Famagusta will be healed.” The CTP inaugurated the organization building in Marash.

The opening event was attended by CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman, Famagusta CTP Mayoral candidate Süleyman Uluçay, Famagusta District President Oktay Kayalp, former CTP Chairman Ferdi Sabit Soyer, some deputies and local people. In addition to CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman, CTP Maraş Organization President Yiğit Doğruöz and Famagusta CTP Mayor candidate Süleyman Uluçay also made speeches at the event.

ERHÜRMAN: FAMAGUSTA WILL HEAL WITH SÜLEYMAN ULUÇAY

Pointing out that the country is going through troubled days, Erhürman emphasized that they are seriously overwhelmed by both the damage caused by the economic situation in the country and the gaps in democracy that are opened every day. Tufan Erhürman stated that he was very happy to open the CTP’s ‘house’ together after a very long period of time and that this situation was a great hope for the future.

Pointing out that young people in Maraş are now experiencing the same problems in Güzelyurt and Nicosia, Erhürman said, “We are all in the same boat, we are experiencing the same problems. There is only one way to solve these problems. Either we fight together or we will fall under this scuffle.” Emphasizing that these problems can be overcome with a common struggle, Erhürman pointed out that the first goal is to improve Famagusta with Süleyman Uluçay.

“SÜLEYMAN ULUÇAY WILL BE THE MAYOR OF THE MUNICIPALITY, FAMAGUSTA WILL BE HEALED”

Underlining that the recovery of Famagusta will start from Marash, Erhürman said, “CTP-Maraş will walk hand in hand. Süleyman Uluçay will be the mayor and Famagusta will be healed.” Erhürman stated that they continue to walk with the principles that have existed since 1970 and emphasized that their focus as a party is equality and people.

Pointing out that there is only one formula that will solve the destruction created in democracy and the economy, Erhürman said, “This formula is the formula that has not been tried so far, it is the power of the CTP alone.” Emphasizing that they now have a ‘home’ in Marash, Erhürman added, “I am confident that we will work and struggle much more intensively to walk towards our next goals.”

ULUÇAY: WE SET OUT ON THIS PATH TO SERVE WITH LOVE

In his speech, CTP Famagusta Mayor candidate Süleyman Uluçay stated that he was honored to attend the opening of the Maraş CTP Organization building. Uluçay, who criticized the fact that the open Marash region was seen by some political circles as “ours anyway”, said, “I see that we will prove that this is not the case in the first municipal elections to be held.” Uluçay, who emphasized that they set out to serve this path with love, said that he thought that both the municipal elections and the general and presidential elections had a very different meaning for Maraş. Uluçay ended his speech by wishing success to all those who took part in the Marash Organization.

DOĞRUÖZ: OUR GOAL IS TO HELP SOLVE PROBLEMS

CTP Maraş Organization President Yiğit Doğruöz, who made the opening speech during the opening of the Maraş Organization, wished that the organization building would be beneficial to Famagusta. Pointing out that they have mastered the problems in the region, Doğruöz said, “Our first goal is to help solve the problems.” Doğruöz, who underlined that they want to contribute to the solution of the problems, emphasized that they are with Süleyman Uluçay, the candidate of the CTP Famagusta Mayor. Doğruöz stated that their first goal was to govern alone.
