Deadly fire razes home, car in Bafra

A house and a car were burned in two separate fires in Bafra yesterday evening.

According to the statement of the Police Press Officer, while frying in the gas stove in the kitchen of Aysegül Çetin’s house on Fevzi Cakmak Sokak in Bafra, around 19.00, the oil on it caught fire as a result of the stove being left open. As a result of the fire, the extractor fan, gas stove, pan, wooden ceiling of the kitchen room and kitchen cabinets were completely burned.

Fire was extinguished by firefighters.

The car burned. Again, at around 6 pm in Bafra, in the barn area, Salih Şimşek, while parking the vehicle with license plate number EY 173 in Bafra, a fire broke out as a result of a short circuit in the electrical cables.

As a result of the fire, the vehicle was completely burned and became unusable.

Both tires of the trolley, which was mounted behind the burning vehicle, were completely burned. As a result of the fire’s spread to the land, 14 olive trees in the forest land of approximately 5 decares were partially burned, 2 olive trees completely, 4 carob trees on the same land were partially burned, and 1 carob tree was completely burned. Fire was extinguished by firefighters.
