The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has frowned at Godwin Emefiele’s presidential ambitions.
The Council believes the ambition denigrates the Central Bank of Nigeria’s act.
NYCN president, Mr. Solomon Adodo stated this on Tuesday at the launch of a youth-based political campaign in Abuja.
He said Emefiele is dragging a revered institution of government into partisan politics.
He added that the council is consulting widely on the action of the CBN governor and will take appropriate actions in due course.
Meanwhile, the youth council has said that all aspirants in the 2023 elections must show clear plans for the youth and seal a pact of partnership to ensure youth potentials are moved to productivity.
