Rashford and Sancho miss out as Marc Guehi earns first England call-up

Manchester United Marcus Rashford has been left out of the England squad following his poor form for Manchester United.

Old Trafford team-mate Jadon Sancho also misses out despite improved displays recently but Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is handed a first senior call-up by Gareth Southgate.
The 20-year-old centre-back has been one of the mainstays of Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace side this term following his £18million move from Chelsea.
There is a return to the squad for the first time since Euro 2020 for Arsenal’s Ben White, however England regular Kyle Walker is not part of the 25-man group.
Palace loanee Conor Gallagher keeps his spot among the midfielders as Southampton skipper James Ward-Prowse is also recalled.
Full squad
Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale
Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Coady, Marc Guehi, Reece James, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Ben White
Midfielders: Jude Bellingham, Conor Gallagher, Jordan Henderson, Mason Mount, Declan Rice, James Ward-Prowse
Forwards: Tammy Abraham, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Raheem Sterling
