NDLEA decorates MC Oluomo as ‘Ambassador of war against drug abuse’

The Lagos Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has decorated the State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Musiliu Akinsanya a.ka MC Oluomo as the agency’s ‘Ambassador of War Against Drug Abuse in the State (WADA).’

The decoration came days after the agency raided the notorious Patey Lagos Island drug haven in Lagos to arrest a suspected female major drug kingpin Mrs Sherifat Kehinde Lawal.
Team of NDLEA led by its Lagos State Commander, Calys Alumona, visited MC Oluomo to seek his support in sensitising union members to desist from drugs and other harmful substances.
MC Oluomo, on his Instagram page, appreciated the agency for its renewed efforts in tackling abuse of harmful substances.
He boasted that people around him could testify that he doesn’t smoke or drink.
MC Oluomo further stated he does not allow anyone smoking to come close to him because he gets irritated by the smell.
He however promised the NDLEA team of his continued efforts towards tackling drug abuse amongst his members.
MC Oluomo noted that the ambassadorial appointment will further spur him to do more towards reducing the usage of substances amongst his members in the state.
