Imo Works Commissioner receives representatives of Alaba International Market


…Assures Imo People of Massive roads infrastructure

The Commissioner for Works, Ralph Nwosu on Thursday, received in audience the representatives of Alaba International Market in his office at the state secretariat complex.

A leader of the delegation, Mr Jasper Onyeazor informed the Commissioner that the essence of their visit was to ascertain State Government’s intention on Alaba International Market road while pledging their unalloyed support to the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

The Works Commissioner in his response assured them of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s honest desire to giving a facelift to the road adding that the Alaba International Market road is already captured in the 2022 budget and as such must be given utmost priority.

Ralph Nwosu used the opportunity to assure the good people of Imo State that critical roads, such as World bank/Umuguma road, Naze-Nekede-Ihiagwa-Obinze-Road, MCC/Uratta road,  Naze/Egbu/Timber road among other roads will in the coming days witness massive constructions.

The Commissioner hinted that Government will undertake numerous road projects inline with the reconstruction, rehabilitation and recovery drive of the State Government especially as it concerns roads infrastructure.

He maintained that the yearnings and aspirations of Imo people on roads infrastructure and other aspects of governance will be met as His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma is determined to reposition and redefine the Imo of our collective dreams.
