Britney Spears oozed confidence when she appeared on Instagram in a cheeky lace bodysuit on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old singer, who recently had her conservatorship terminated after 13 years, posed from the side to accentuate her pert derriere, while also staring towards the camera.
‘Second pic is the original and you heard me … should I say it again ?????? KISS MY MOTHER F***ING A** !!!!!’ captioned Spears, who included two of the same image – one of which was altered to appear brighter.
The Toxic hitmaker’s flowing blonde hair was styled in her signature half up half down hairdo and she accentuated her gaze with a generous amount of black eyeliner.
Just moments before sharing her lingerie-clad portraits, Britney uploaded a nearly 2-minute video where she said her parents should be in jail for controlling her life and finances for more than a decade, following a judge’s ruling terminating her 13-year conservatorship.
Spears also joked that she may take after Meghan Markle and Adele and sit down with Oprah for a tell-all interview.
The video post comes days after a California judge freed the Grammy-winning singer from her conservatorship, a legal arrangement that controlled large aspects of her finances and medical decisions.
‘I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me which they should all be in jail for … yes including my church going mother !!!!’ Spears said in a caption.
Rumors had swirled that she was considering retiring altogether, though she’s since shot those down.
‘I’ve been on the conservatorship for 13 years. That’s a really long time to be in a situation you don’t wanna be in,’ Spears said.
‘I’m just grateful honestly for each day and being able to have the keys to my car and being able to be independent and feel like a woman.
‘Owning an ATM card, seeing cash for the first time, being able to buy candles. It’s the little things for us women, but it make a huge difference.’
Spears, who has since announced that she’s engaged to 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari, said that she wants to use her case as part of her advocacy against unfair guardianship or conservatorships for people with ‘real disabilities and real illnesses.’
She further criticized her parent in the video, saying, ‘I lived with victims my whole life as a child that’s why I got out of my house and I worked for 20 years and worked my a** off.’
The singer wore a floral print crop top with black jean shorts as she swayed back and forth while speaking into the camera.
She also hinted that she may sit down with Oprah to tell her story in full.
‘I mean who knows … I do know how embarrassing it is to share the fact I’ve never seen cash or wasn’t able to drive my car. But honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me,’ Spears said.
The ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’ singer was put under a conservatorship in 2008 after a series of personal setbacks, including losing custody of her two children.
Her personal and business decisions, including control of a $60 million fortune amassed over two decades of performing, were put in the hands of her father, Jamie Spears, who shared management with his business partner Lou Taylor.
The arrangement, usually reserved for severely incapacitated or elderly people, has been the subject of scrutiny in recent years as her fans raised their voices about it on social media.
When addressing the court publicly for the first time in June, Spears said her father and management team wouldn’t even allow her to have an intrauterine birth control device removed because they don’t want her to have children.
Spears has suggested jail time for her family before.
In June, she told the judge: ‘Ma’am, my dad, and anyone involved in this conservatorship, and my management, who played a huge role in punishing me when I said no—Ma’am, they should be in jail.’
Spears has also previously criticized her mother, saying the conservatorship was her idea because her dad is ‘not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship.’
The pop star ended Tuesday’s video by thanking her fans and the #FreeBritney movement, the dedicated cohort of fans who have spoken out about her legal situation.
‘You guys rock, honestly. My voice was muted and threatened for so long and I wasn’t able to speak up or say anything.
‘Because of you guys, and the awareness of kind of knowing what was going on and delivering that news to the public for so long, you gave it awareness to all of them,’ she said.
‘I honestly think you guys saved my life. In a way. 100 percent,’ she added, appearing to hold back tears.
‘I know there’s a lot of jokes about the Free Britney movement: ‘We’re not free we’re expensive.’ OK, Birdies. I’m expensive too,’ she said.
‘Let’s move forward. God bless you all.’
Spears is refusing to see her mother Lynne Spears after she flew from Louisiana to Los Angeles in a bid to make amends with her daughter, it has been claimed.
The singer is said to have denied Lynne, 66, entry to her home recently, weeks before her conservatorship had been terminated by a judge, PageSix reports.
It comes after Britney accused Lynne of being the orchestrator of her 13-year conservatorship, that her father controlled, in an Instagram post earlier this month.
‘My dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship,’ Britney said in a furious post, adding to her mother Lynne: ‘You know exactly what you did.’
Meanwhile, a source told PageSix of Lynne being turned away: ‘A few weeks before the conservatorship ended, Lynne flew to Los Angeles to try to reconnect with Britney.’
‘But Britney didn’t even let Lynne into her house. She is furious with her. Lynne tried over a number of days to try to visit, but Britney just shut her down.’
Britney accused her mother Lynne of ‘ruining’ her life in a since-deleted Instagram post this month, writing: ‘My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea.
‘I will never get those years back.
‘She secretly ruined my life … and yes I will call her and Lou Taylor out on it … so take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f*** yourself!!!!’
Taylor is Spears’s former business manager.
She continued: ‘You know exactly what you did … my dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship.’
Lynne Spears in July issued a sworn statement in support of her daughter’s attempts to remove her father as conservator.
‘It is clear to me that James P. Spears is incapable of putting my daughter’s interests ahead of his own on both a professional and a personal level,’ she said.
Yet Jamie hit back, accusing Lynne of being an absent mother and claiming she was paid $150,000 a year by Britney for her mansion in Louisiana.
‘In stark contrast, it appears that Lynne is the one who is incapable of putting her daughter’s interests ahead of her own,’ Jamie Spears’ statement said.
‘Lynne has not been involved in her daughter’s life for most of the past twelve years.
‘Despite their estranged relationship, the Conservatorship Estate, during the entire duration of the Conservatorship, has paid and continues to pay for the mansion in Louisiana where Lynne lives, including all of her utility bills, weekly maid service, and all maintenance (totaling upwards of $150,000 per year and to date, nearly $2,000,000 in total).’
Britney’s accusations against her mother came just weeks before a judge finally terminated her conservatorship.
Judge Penny’s decision to dissolve the much-maligned legal arrangement comes two months after she fired the star’s dad, Jamie Spears, as the $16,000-a-month conservatorship boss who pulled the strings on his daughter’s career and welfare.
During Friday’s 30-minute hearing, Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart told Judge Penny that the singer had repeatedly testified and declared in court filings that she ‘wants her life back and she wants this conservatorship to end.’
And Rosengart also pointed out that even her father Jamie had said in court documents that he ‘believes the conservatorship should be terminated without reservation or exception.’
Rosengart added: ‘The conservatorship should end now. There is no reason for another second of delay.’
Rosengart told the court that, earlier on Friday, temporary conservator Zabel had filed a ‘termination care plan’ under seal with the court, detailing how over the next few weeks he will tie up the remaining administrative ends of the conservatorship and transfer all assets to Britney’s trust.
Britney’s conservatorship was split into two parts – the estate and the person. Zabel is winding up the estate part of the conservatorship.
Meanwhile the conservator of her person – long-time caregiver Jodi Montgomery – was also in complete agreement with the order to dissolve the conservatorship.
‘There is no reason why Britney can’t have a happy, fulfilling life after termination of this conservatorship,’ Montgomery’s attorney, Laurianne Wright told the court.
Now, Jamie could face a major civil lawsuit – or even criminal charges – after Rosengart, accused him of ‘mismanaging’ her finances, profiting from the conservatorship and illegally monitoring and electronically spying on her, even in her bedroom.
Jamie on Friday was seen at a Louisiana lumber yard.
The 69-year-old was spotted in cargo pants, a baseball cap and a long-sleeved t-shirt at the yard in Kentwood – where he was born, where Britney was born, and where he and his ex-wife Lynne still live.
