Gov. Hope Uzodimma Standing In The gap For The South East

One thing that is very interesting about His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma is his abilities to mend fences, build bridges, sustain and make case  for igbo’s to get justice and equity in the Nigerian state.

Gov. Hope Uzodimma feels a compulsion to speak out all the time and moreso follow it up. those of them complaining of the Governor’s frequent visits to Abuja may be ignorant of his activities and should they know the windows of opportunities been opened by the visits would applaud him.

Within the time being, Gov Hope Uzodimma has made himself a rallying point for all the leaders in South East giving his contacts, fatherly posture and his determination to connect the zone to the grid of national power.

Recently, during the South East  public hearing on the review of  revenue allocation formula held in Owerri, Gov. Hope Uzodimma made case for the creation of additional state in the South East and compensation of the igbo’s for the damages incurred during the civil war. An apolitical  statement no serving igbo political leader has ever made for decades  in public and this has continued to position him as a selfless leader.

That selfless appeal is a pointer to the undeniable reality that yes the igbo’s has a leader in the person of Gov. Hope Uzodimma who is ready to stand in for them anytime anyday.

As at today, the story of the South East can not be told without Gov Hope Uzodimma taking prominence especially his inputs towards positioning the zone nationally and ensuring that we are not economically disadvantaged.

Gov. Hope Uzodimma, misconstrued by many has left no one in doubt that he has come to ensure that the igbo’s get fair share of what it due to them and events in the recent time has continued to lend credence to this fact.

No agitation is gainful and realizable than that of the ones Gov. Hope Uzodimma is currently championing which in the long run will favour Ndi igbo.
