*’Justice Has Been Done’, Says Governor Inuwa Yahaya

The National Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe on Monday recieved the report of the Governor Inuwa Yahaya-chaired Anambra State Governorship Primary Appeal Election Committee.

The report was recieved at Buhari House, the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

Akpanudoedehe: “I stand on behalf of the Party Chairman, Governor Mai Mala Buni to thank Your Excellency immensely for the expediency the committee gave this assignment… I want to assure you that the Chairman and the caretaker committee will look critically and objectively at this report. At the end of the day, party supremacy and the party direction will be our guide.

The Governor of Gombe State and Chairman of Appeal Committee while answering questions from journalists after submitting the report stated: “We did justice to the assignment. We heard their complaints. We went through the petitions and we have written our report based on the materials that we got which helped us to prepare our recommendations.

“All the documents are with the CECPC. But I believe justice has been done.

“Virtually all the aggrieved aspirants attended the meeting. It was not only the contestants. Even senior stakeholders from the South-East particularly from Anambra State.”
