ROAD CONSTRUCTION UNDER GOV. HOPE UZODIMMA

Overtime, the prevailing situation faced by Imolites is that of bad roads and this has made it possible for politicians to gain their ways through making promises of fixing the roads immediately the assume office and oftentimes they fail on doing so with numerous excuses. This beats ones imagination as to why those we entrusted with power always finds it easy to play on the intelligence of the people even to the small good they ought to be doing.

Successive administrations hasn’t been fair on the nature of roads we have in the state. Imolites each time points out roads that requires immediate government attention especially before the rainy season yet government feigns ignorance of it and this always results to such roads worsening day by day thereby putting the lives of those that ply on it in danger and becomes a glaring death trap.

The shared prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma meticulously undertook the responsibility of accessing the state of all the major roads including link roads in the state and found out that none was motorable and others were seriously begging for government attention and decided to swing into action which has made imo state a construction ground as no road is without the touch of government.

One of the remarking things about the road construction under Gov. Hope Uzodimma is that these roads are not just done by road side construction companies but one certified by the professional council with proven records of competency and quality work done over the years. Another striking point is that resources are plunged into these construction works as the best of quality materials are used in other for the roads to stand the test of time(durability) and in line with global best practices.

We are not surprised that the administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma is very much interested in making impacts and leaving his footprints in the sand of time that even generations yet unborn will be grateful for having him as the governor of imo state.
