The Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma since inception, has touched every sector of the State and with everyone of them wearing a new look as against how it was in the past, especially, during previous administrations in the state.
Imolites cannot agree less that the 3R mantra of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery are obviously not just an insignia but have been made visible in the reconstruction of roads, constructing portable drainages, payment of workers’ salaries pension, fighting corruption in the Civil Service, quick response – mature handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state, equipping our security men, revitalization of Agriculture and continuation of all the panels inaugurated by previous administration in the state among other achievements.
All these impressive record, highlight the sincerity of heart of Gov. Hope Uzodimma, in whom every Imolite is well pleased with.
It has therefore become pertinent that as the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma is investing so much on the development of our dear State, Imo, the onus of such developmental sustainability lie with us by knowing our expected responsibility to the government and its numerous developmental projects in the state.
As the rainy season is here with us, it is no longer a nightmare to so many people as the issue of flooding is but a thing of the past. Notwithstanding, we cannot risk it again through some of our deliberate actions that could endanger and bring to ruin the efforts of this government such as: indiscriminate disposal of waste into our drainages, building on drainage routes, discarding nylons and other garbbages into the drainage.
It is indeed an act of wickedness and man’s inhumanity to man.
The ember months are here with us and this is another time of the year we all have to drop the “I don’t care” attitude because we all as a matter of fact must care for one another in the true spirit of shared support for glorious results.
Also, know that the enemies of the state are not resting on their efforts as the Governor is getting rid of every form of criminality and other vices from the state.
Therefore we all must know what our neighbors are doing for a living, report any suspicious movement around and within our vicinities to the security agencies and we must not aid and abate that which is evil.
Finally, if you see something, say something and as well do something.
Admittedly, the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma strives on democracy and will always encourage the expression of public opinion on his administration and how well the government can succeed.
The general public as well as Imolites are free to constructively criticize the government and be rest assured as it will be accepted and worked upon as no man even a government has monopoly of knowledge.
Imolites should therefore understand and show their continued support and solidarity towards the administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma for more dividends of democracy encompassed in his shared prosperity government and equally contribute their quota in making the Imo of our dream come to pass as nothing worthwhile ever is easy just as the change we want begins with us.
Furthermore, desist from peddling lies and rumors against the government and do not be used by the opposition to destabilize the Government as no meaningful development strives in an unhealthy political rivalry and unguarded actions of the opposition.
