The Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma has flagged off Healthcare at Your Door Step Project and has also rolled out mobile clinics to the rural areas of the State in order to facilitate the health project.
His Excellency stated during the flag-off occasion that the survey Conducted by the Imo State Ministry of Health revealed that all healthcare centers owned by the Imo State Government is in bad condition hence cannot manage the health care needs of Imo people.
According to the governor, to ensure that primary Healthcare of NDIMO is met, Imo State Government has procured 10 Mobile clinics to handle immediate primary healthcare in the Rural areas because report has it that it will take about18 months to build and equip healthcare centers.
