Four killed as trailer rams into taxi in Ibadan

Four people were reportedly killed Wednesday morning when an articulated vehicle lost control and crushed a taxi and three commercial motorcycles in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The incident, which happened at the Aleshinloye roundabout on the ever-busy Dugbe-Aleshinloye road, occurred when the trailer apparently experienced brake failure, hit the taxi and the motorcycles heading towards Dugbe area of the city.

While three people died inside the taxi, one of the commercial motorcycle riders also died on the spot.

Response of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi in the state was being expected as at press time.
