EFCC Arraigns Three Suspected Illegal Oil Dealers

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, July 2, 2020, arraigned three suspected illegal oil dealers and a vessel before Justice Prof. Chuka Austine Obiozor of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos  on three -count charges bordering on illegal dealing in petroleum products of about 100 metric tonnes of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO).

The defendants, Okorie Collins Chukwuma, Julius Makingbene, Ededemi Bassey Okon were arrested alongside a vessel MV CX FLEET 1, by the Nigeria Navy and subsequently handed over to the EFCC for prosecution.
