Imo PDP gets new publicity secretary, legal adviser

The Imo State executive committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of the former Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Imo State on Research and Documentation and ace journalist, Mr. Ogubundu Nwadike as the state publicity secretary of the party.

The party also approved the appointment of the former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Campaign in Imo State and legal practitioner, Barr. Kissinger Ikeokwu as the state legal adviser of the party.

Nwadike and Ikeokwu replaced Damian Opara and Barr. Jerry Egemba respectively, who defected to the All Progressives Congress.

While wishing them a success in their new assignments, the letter said the appointment of the new state officers would take effect immediately.
