Kogi Guber: Bello inches closer to second term, leads with wide margin

Barring any last-minute exigencies, Governor Yahaya Bello is set to be declared winner of the governorship election in Kogi state.

The governor has extended his lead, winning the remaining two local government areas of Ibaji and Lokoja that were announced some moments ago.

The governor has won majority votes in 12 of the 21 local government areas in the state, while the PDP Candidate, Engr. Musa Wada won majority votes in 9 local government areas.

The State Collation Officer is expected to make a final declaration later after due computation.
