Live Above Board, Magu Charges Judicial Officers

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has charged judicial officers in the country to live above board and support the fight against corruption.

He made the call on Tuesday, June 24, 2019 at the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Kaduna Branch Law Week, held at Sir Ahmadu Bello Foundation Kaduna.

The five day conference has “Security challenges in Nigeria, Legal Perspectives and solution,” as theme.

Speaking through Mailafia Yakubu, the Zonal Head, Kaduna Office of the EFCC, Magu emphasized the important role of the judiciary and that of judicial officers in the fight against corruption.

He urged the judiciary to work in partnership with the EFCC to ensure the country is corrupt-free. Other speakers at the event include, Anthony Idigbe, SAN, Wole Agunbiade, SAN, and Aisha Abdu Mohammed ESQ.
