Photos: Senate received briefing from Inspector General of Police

The Senate, on Tuesday received a briefing from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, on the issues of insecurity across the nation.


The IGP promised to address areas that have to do with the discipline of officers that have been found wanting; strengthen the efforts to improve the security across the nation; and also utilise technology and enhanced intelligence techniques to secure the nation.
The Senate also reiterated that it stands ready at any time to ensure that the Nigerian Police has all that it needs to be able to combat all threats to our nation’s security.
