Unidentified African student found dead in Northern Cyprus Forest

A yet to be identified African student was found dead at the Haspolat forest area in Northern Cyprus on Friday.


An autopsy carried out on the unidentified student revealed that he died from head trauma as a result of severe beating, the student suffered from blunt head trauma, cerebral hemorrhage and loss of breath as a result of being choked.

Northern Cyprus Police said the nationality and identify of the student believed to be between the age of 25-30 could not be determined at press time.

The body has been deposited in a mortuary in Lefkosa.

Meanwhile, the police said it has launched investigation across all universities in the country.
