Members-elect of the Kogi State House of Assembly were on Wednesday issued with their Certificates of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

All 25 members-elect contested and won on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Speaking shortly after receiving his certificate, the current Speaker of the outgoing sixth assembly, Mathew Kolawole said that his reelection would spur him to perform better.

He identified an area of priority to include rallying members behind the party’s goal to ensure continuity in the administration of the state.

Kolawole thanked the people of Kaba/Bunu for giving him another chance to serve them.
