Fayose’s former Special Assistant on LG Affairs joins APC

Ayo Fayose

Ayodeji Adu, former Special Assistant  on  Local Government Affairs to  ex-Ekiti State governor  Ayo Fayose,  has defected from the  Peoples Democratic Party  to the  All Progressives Congress.

Adu said he loved  Governor Kayode Fayemi’s  leadership style, hence he  decided to join the ruling APC.

He spoke on Wednesday in Afao Ekiti, where he, alongside  hundreds of PDP members,   officially joined  the APC during the party’s campaign rally.

He said, “This decision to dump the  PDP for  the APC was borne out of patriotism and it is for the betterment of my state.

“Afao, in spite of the fact that it has  produced  the governor of the state for eight years, is still a shambles.   No meaningful development.”
