The land is question is located at Wulari close to the Police Mammy Market.
Goni has secured two judgments both at the State High Court and the Appeal Court Jos in his favour despite the police appeal against the first judgment 2017 but the police waited until 2018 to comply with the judgment.
The PPRO said; “This decision was communicated to the various stakeholders of the mammy market in a meeting held at the office of the Commissioner of Police last month, August, 2018.
“Also, in compliance with the directive from the Force Headquarters in Abuja, the Command approved the demarcation and subsequent handing over of a portion of the said land to Alhaji Goni Kawu in line with the delineation set on the judgment papers of the courts.
” It is noteworthy that only a portion of the entire Police land was ceded and handed over to the plaintiffs.
