Egyptian student between life and death after assault by 10 British women

The mother then said that her daughter managed to escape from the girls with the help of a young man on to a bus.

However, the assailants reportedly chased her and beat her again until she lost consciousness.

She added that the bus driver called an ambulance.

The mother added that her daughter was subjected to another assault four months ago by two of the 10 girls involved in the most recent one.

She said that Maryam is now in a hospital bed between life and death, and is asking British police to expedite the arrest of the girls.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that they are closely following the case.

Spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Abu Zeid, added that the Egyptian Consulate General in London immediately contacted the father of the girl and updated him on the developments in the health condition of his daughter.

He added that the Egyptian Consul and the Medical Advisor of the Embassy visited Nottingham to meet with the student’s family as well as the local authorities and the hospital management to deal with the incident and to consider what measures could be taken to preserve the rights of the Egyptian student. .

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also said that the Egyptian Embassy’s activities in London included contact with the British Foreign Office to stress the importance of the local police authorities in Nottingham taking the incident seriously and the arrest of the aggressors.
