Police officers rushed to hospital after being stung by bees during sting operation

Police officers who were carrying out a sting operation were attacked by a swarm of bees, according to police in Brazil.

Rio de Janeiro police said that the officers from the Resende division were carrying out a sting operation on Friday when they were attacked.

The officers were trying to catch drug dealers operating in the Minas Gerais Park when one of them encountered a suspicious box.

The officers opened the box, which contained hundreds of bees.

The bees immediately flew out of the box and attacked the officers.

In total, 7 police officers were rushed to a hospital after being stung by the bees.

One officer was stung about 300 times and was said to be in critical condition.
