Eva Longoria is reportedly expecting her first child

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star is believed to be pregnant with her first child with her husband José Bastón – whom she married in 2016 – according to various reports.

According to Spanish magazine Hola, which was the first to report the news, Eva and her 49-year-old spouse will welcome their bundle of joy in the spring.

Although the expected new arrival will mark the first child for 42-year-old Eva, José is already father to Natalia, 22, and 14-year-old triplets Sebastian, Mariana, and Jose, all of whom he shares with his ex-wife and Mexican actress Natalia Esperón.

The news comes after the ‘Brooklyn Nine Nine’ actress revealed that she loves being step mother to José’s brood, but at the time stated she wasn’t sure if she was ready to have children of her own.

She said: “I don’t know. Right now I am a step mum to three amazing kids, and I’ve had my hands full, and they are amazing and wonderful … It’s been a lot of fun, a lot of fun being a step mum.”

It isn’t the first time pregnancy rumours have followed Eva though, as people were quick to assume she was expecting when pictures of her looking “fat” emerged on the internet.

Speaking previously about the snaps, she said: “I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat. I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes.”

But when asked if there may be a special announcement in the future, she replied: “Maybe”.

And Eva said the pictures even fooled her mother, who had to call her to ask her if the speculation was true.

The brunette beauty said: “This time my mom called me because I actually really did look pregnant. So I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I could see why you were questioning that.’”
