Champions Chelsea host Burnley on opening day

The 2017-2018 Premier League season kicks off on the weekend of August 12-13 fixtures with defending champions Chelsea taking on Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham, who finished second last season, are away to Rafa Benitez’s newly promoted Newcastle United. When the sides last met on the final day of season 2015-2016, Newcastle hammered the Londoners by 5-1.

Third-placed Manchester City are away to another newcomer, Brighton, while the third team to be promoted, Huddersfield Town travels to London to face Crystal Palace.
