An unlucky bank robber in Pennsylvania, who managed to leave the crime scene with a large amount of cash, dropped it all while riding on a bike, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.
The Springettsbury Township Police Department released a video, showing the cash flying out of the robber’s pocket as he paddled away from the crime scene on his bike.
“Video of the suspect from the Member’s 1st Credit Union robbery on Thursday April 6th. The video is from a business on S Albemarle St., approximately 10 minutes after the robbery.
“Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Springettsbury Township Police through 911 or at 717-757-3525,” police wrote on Facebook.
The video begins with the suspect riding down a sidewalk with a large mountain bike. Suddenly, all of the stolen cash came flying out of his pocket.
A few seconds later, the suspect stopped and dropped his bike on the ground. He ran back to the pile of cash, which began flying away in the wind and getting wet from the rain soaked sidewalk.
The robber quickly scooped up most of the bills and left some of the cash behind as it became too wet for him to handle. He crumpled the pile of cash and stuffed it back into his pocket before leaving the scene.
So far, no arrests have been made.
