A clever dog managed to open multiple doors with its mouth and escape from an animal hospital in middle of the night, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.
The Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital said that on Monday around 4:00 a.m., the dog named General, opened its cage door, and managed to open the back door to the clinic to escape.
The Stafford County animal control, sheriff deputies as well as staff members went looking for the dog once they realized that it was gone.
Staff reviewed security surveillance video and saw the dog opening the three doors with its mouth and making the escape.
The dog’s name is General, and it is a great pyrenees. General was described as very sweet and wearing a purple AGAH ID band.
After several hours of searching, General was located and returned to the animal hospital. According to neighbors, General was resting in their yard since 11:00 a.m.
Officer McCall was the responding Animal Control Officer who returned General to the animal hospital. The video of the dog’s daring escape was uploaded to Facebook, where it went viral.
