A mother was arrested after she disfigured her husband with bleach during a fight over her lesbian lover, according to police in Florida.
31-year-old Lakeisha Regina LeGrand of Orlando, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery/permanent disfigurement.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, LeGrand and her husband have been married for eight years, they have four children together and live together in the same household.
LeGrand told police that she recently discovered that she is gay, and this has caused stress in their relationship.
LeGrand’s husband asked her to keep her lover away from their four children.
However, one day when the couple got into an argument, LeGrand took the children and left the house. Her husband said that he also left and he returned home the next day.
That is when the children told their father that LeGrand’s lover babysat them while their mother was away.
The father confronted his wife and she replied: “go back where you came,” according to police. LeGrand then picked up a bottle of bleach from a closet, unscrewed the lid and splashed it on her husband’s face, leaving him injured.
The extent of her husband’s injuries was not made public.
