A migrant from Iraq, who applied for asylum in Sweden, raped a young girl multiple times while living with her aunt, according to police in Sweden.
Tjorn police said that they arrested 45-year-old Ahmed, after being accused of raping the 10-year-old girl after forcing her to watch pornographic material with him.
In court, Ahmed was found guilty of rape, and he was sentenced to 6 years in prison followed by deportation. He also got a lifetime ban on entering Sweden.
Ahmed is appealing the deportation order, saying that his life would be at risk upon arrival in Iraq.
According to the police investigation, the 10-year-old girl, her brother and their mother, moved in with Ahmed, after they needed a place to stay.
After a short while, Ahmed began raping the mother of the girl.
Instead of leaving, the mother decided to marry Ahmed. At some point, the mother learned that Ahmed was forcing her 10-year-old daughter to watch porn and was raping her.
She then called the police to report Ahmed. Investigators learned the Ahmed raped another woman around 20 times.
Ahmed threatened to set the girl’s family members on fire if she did not keep quiet about the abuse.
